Some new beauties have finally arrived Pakistan
L’Oréal, the world’s leading beauty brand, exclusively presented their Spring/Summer 2011 collection in Pakistan through a first of its kind style show, ‘Summer Fantasy’ held in Lahore. For this innovative introduction to Spring/Summer, Global beauty pioneers L’Oréal Paris and International number#1 professional brand L’Oréal Professionnel teamed up together with leading Stylist and L’Oréal’s creative consultant Nabila and Zain Mustafa, co-creator for the event and internationally renowned interior designer and architect in an event managed by J&S with PR by Lotus.

‘Summer Fantasy’ marked the third beauty based collection launched by Nabila for L’Oréal Pakistan whereby each shows purpose was to interpret the ‘look’ of the season, specific to the Pakistani beauty and fashion context. For Summer Fantasy 2011, Nabila and Zain Mustafa’s interpretation for L’Oréal was manifested through an imaginative set of props, colours and freshness particular to the spring season with applications and shapes focusing on vibrant and quirky looks styled live on stage by the creative team at Nabila’s with L’Oréal Professionnel’s hair colour and hair care and makeup by L’Oréal Paris. L’Oréal Paris Spokespeople Aamina Sheikh and Sabina Pasha along with fashion models Ayaan, Fayezah Ansari, Fia and Mehreen Syed were styled, with fabric by Gul Ahmed. The 3 hair silhouettes of short, medium and long length cuts respectively were showcased for high fashion wearability and its exaggerated artistic expression.

Speaking about L’Oréal Pakistan’s Spring/Summer 2011 collection, Business Unit Manager Professional Products Division L’Oréal, Sadia Shaman, h and L’Oréal Paris Marketing Manager Zainab Pasha has said,

Summer Fantasy 2011 was complemented by live music produced by Emu with Balochi folk artist Akhter Channar, guitarist Shallum Xavier and bassist Khalid with a live dance performance by the chaap dancers. Performing a medley of 3 tracks, Akhter Chinnar presented Balochi rap composed on centuries old shepherds poetry which narrates the story of three plants that return with the gypsies to celebrate spring.
